Scott Fitzgerald
Vice President & General Manager

McClement Vice President and General Manager, Scott Fitzgerald (aka “Fitz” as there are too many Scotts in the office), brings more than 25 years of experience in the McDonald’s system—and a lifetime of curiosity about how things work. From launching national programs to helping teammates solve problems, Fitz’s passion, precision and can-do energy are assets to all.
Before joining McClement four years ago, Fitz’s career was shaped by his unique way of addressing complex problems by breaking them down into bite-sized steps. He quite literally helped build the McDonald’s cookie production line that now feeds sweet cravings across 14,000 restaurants! (Talk about bite-sized.)
Colleagues often turn to Fitz not just for guidance, but for steady personal support. He’s known for leading by example and inspiring with quiet conviction, which are attributes he credits to mentors who showed him the deeper purpose of supporting McDonald’s operators.
Born and raised in Calabasas, California, Fitz is the youngest of six siblings and comes from a family with transatlantic roots. Some of his earliest McDonald’s-related memories were getting to sample his British-born mom’s Filet-O-Fish meal. When he's off the clock, Fitz is rarely idle. Whether it’s a DIY home project or detailing one of his (always spotless) cars, there’s always something on his workbench. He’s constantly tinkering, building, improving — it's just how he’s wired.
